This pastel was done as a demonstration in my portrait class at Utah Tech University. I was showing the steps in creating a pastel drawing but to also get a feeling and expression.
Our Float Frame is custom-made with a small gap between the frame and canvas to accentuate the edges of the artwork and give the illusion of a floating image within the frame.
