“Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.” Romans 6:4
No matter how dark the night, there is always the hope of the dawn. I love that there is always a new day on the horizon. Each night is like a death, a sleep, and each morning we rise again. We sacrifice our broken hearts and allow Christ to give us a new one. We let go of the old, and trust that Christ can make new. Christ’s power over death promises a physical resurrection, but also a new life to those left behind in death’s wake.
“But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.” 2 Corinthians 3:18
